What Participants Are Saying

Absolutely loved learning to use alcohol ink. The way it moves, the beautiful patterns and the ink’s unpredictable nature that promotes  individual creativity. It was a fab workshop Katy, thankyou! I might not be a pro but I think I have found my preferred medium. 😊

Carmel Waite-McDermid

Katy’s ink class was so much fun. Learning and working with this new medium gave me a new appreciation for Katy’s beautiful artistry.

Donna Parker

I had Katy come out to my salon for a team bonding day and we LOVED IT! My whole team and I had so much fun and Katy was so helpful and chill (even listening to our banter). I’ve loved using the skills I’ve learnt from the class to create my own art too

Hannah Rose Waterson

I’ve participated in a couple of Katy’s workshops. She showed us how to utilise the very few tools we needed. How to make flowers and intricate designs out of our blobs of ink. How to use the pens to draw and enhance our designs to make them all frame-worthy enough to hang on our walls with pride.

As with the pots and the paintings, we saw other colour combinations that other participants used (in between our laughter) that were out of our own comfort zone but intrigued us all the more because we wanted to try them, too.

But most especially we found that Katy was such an inspiring tutor. She has such an infinite amount of patience for each and every one of us. She shared her vast amount of knowledge and was so inspiring.

Katy is also a wealth of information. Where you can purchase more products, which companies to deal with, how they work, the differing types of inks. The most amazing thing in each class that I attended with the beautiful Katy J. was the amount of laughter and giggles from everybody and Katy. Each and every one of us laughed so much as did Katy. We all left on a high.

Good company and an engaging and informative tutor, lots of laughter and giggles made for so much fun.

Thank you, Katy J, for inspiring me to try a new hobby. Also for sharing your knowledge and sharing your expertise and enthusiasm.
